[BRAND_NAME_PRIMARY] — Brand Identity Commission
Cover Letter — Freelance Designer Engagement
[PACKAGE_DATE]
Dear Designer,
I'm [OPERATOR_NAME], founder of [OPERATOR_LLC] — the company behind [BRAND_NAME_PRIMARY], a structure-enforcement trading platform for self-directed options traders. We've done serious internal groundwork on the brand: voice is locked, color palette is defined, and three wordmark direction concepts exist as working vectors. What we don't have yet is a finished identity system executed by a craftsperson who does this for a living.
That's the job.
We're looking for a solo designer with strong wordmark and mark design experience — ideally someone who has worked with software products or fintech-adjacent brands and knows the difference between a logo that survives at 512px and one that falls apart at 16px. We know what we want. We have the reference material, the palette, the type choices, and the concept directions ready. Your job is to take that input and deliver a polished, production-ready identity: wordmark, brandmark, mascot refinement, favicon set, and monochrome variants.
Scope is intentionally tight. We're not asking for a 40-page brand bible. We want the mark files — right, on-system, delivered in every format we need to ship.
Budget range: [BUDGET_RANGE]. Timeline: [TIMELINE_WEEKS] from kickoff.
The full engagement document is attached. It covers deliverables, file format requirements, IP assignment terms (subject to counsel review before contract execution), and the approval sequence.
To move forward, reply with a brief note confirming scope fit, your availability, and a pointer to relevant work. Portfolio should show wordmark + mark work; illustrations or mascot work are a plus.
Invoices and questions go to [OPERATOR_EMAIL].
Thank you for considering this project.
